Welcome to Olive

Olive International Schools gives homeschooling families what a good school gives its pupils: excellent teachers, a clear plan, and people who know each child well.

We teach Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel programmes from IGCSE through to AS and A Level, and prepare KCSE private candidates for the Kenyan national exam. Every learner has subject teachers, a study plan built around them and regular feedback for parents. When the exams come round, we guide families through entries, deadlines and exam centres.

About Olive

The Olive crest

Four quarters of a complete education

Each quarter of our shield stands for something we teach. Together they describe the young person we hope every Olive learner becomes.

Expression

Writing clearly, reading closely and making a case well. Every other subject depends on these habits.

Knowledge

A broad, demanding curriculum, taught for real understanding rather than memorised notes.

Achievement

Qualifications recognised around the world, and the exam technique to earn them.

Inquiry

Science and mathematics taught as ways of asking good questions, with curiosity encouraged at every level.

Homeschooling works best with good teachers behind it.

Olive teachers plan lessons, set and mark work, and keep parents informed. Students always know who to ask when they are stuck, and parents always know how their child is getting on.
